An optional attachment for Cantareel that lets you turn individual strings on and off while playing.
Cantareel normally plays all four strings simultaneously, but with String Gate, you can freely choose which strings will sound.
By operating the knobs with your fingertips, the mute bars flip into place and mute individual strings independently.
The spacing between each mute bar is approximately 10.5 mm, matching the standard string spacing of a typical acoustic guitar.
[ How to Use ]
0. Loosen the strings sufficiently beforehand.
1. Apply the included putty to the bottom of the String Gate.
2. Place the String Gate underneath the strings and secure it in position.
3. Install the Cantareel unit.
4. Use your fingertips to operate the knobs and switch each string on or off.
Important :
- Install the String Gate parallel to the strings.
- Please handle the knob gently with your fingertips.
- The putty can be reused multiple times.
